Round 2!!!

So 92.9 kzzu is doing their annual Baby Idol contest and we thought it would be fun to enter Claire. This is Brandon's all time favorite picture of her so this is what we went with. There are something like 300 babies entered and the top 100 move on to the next round. We are just doing it for fun but if you wouldn't mind taking a minute and voting for her that would be great!! And Winter continues...

I just had to write a quick post (and I mean quick, as I type this Claire is literally tearing apart the office) about our lovely weather. What the heck?? It is April 2nd and we just got about 3 inches of new snow. How depressing. I am so ready for Spring that what usually is beautiful fluffy white stuff is now yucky. We have had CRAZY weather around here lately. Here are a couple pictures. There is also one of our resident deer who also don't know where teh heck Spring went. The first two are of the field across from our house pre-snow, and the next is this morning.

Finally Spring!!

I am SO glad Spring is here!! Even if this means the occasional snowfall... Anyway, life is flying by in our neck of the woods. Our little angel is going to turn one in May!! This is CRAZY to me. I really don't know where the past year has gone. She is such a funny girl and so much fun to be around. Here are a couple new pics of her as well as one of our dog, Gracie. I just realized I hadn't given her any blog time! She is 2 and Claire LOVES her. Gracie is great with Claire and lets her pull, poke and prod anytime she wants, poor dog=) Finally, this is Brandon squatting 455lbs (i think) and he did it like it was nothing. Pretty amazing!! Sunday funnies

Here are a few pictures from last weekend that are too cute not to post. I love the one of Claire with her Grams and Gramps. She gets so excited whenever they're around and she just loves spending time with them. The second one is her and her horsie. Brandon and I sit on opposite sides of the living room and push her back and forth and she thinks this is about the coolest thing ever. She even knows to put her feet up and hold on!! The last picture was Sunday morning when I asked Brandon to feed Claire so I could take a shower. When I got out this is what I saw. What fun is eating breakfast when you can wear it right? Brandon said she seemed like she wanted to feed herself so he let her have at it!!

Is it Spring yet???

Is it Spring yet?? I am so tired of the cold and snow!! I am SOOO ready for green grass and flowers and just being outside! Anyway, Claire is so big. She is such a little girl now instead of a baby=) She can stand all by herself and I'm sure walking is not far off. When did this happen? It really does not seem like long ago that she was born. Brandon and I are great. Our house is going on the market today so we are praying that it sells. We want to move to the northside and really hope it doesn't take a year to actually happen. He is crazy busy with work lately but doing really well. I wanted to write more of an update today but Claire is yelling at me so I better run. Here are a few updated pictures of our little angel.

Life is good

February already! Valentine's Day and Brandon's 27th birthday=) Life is good around here. Claire is amazing. She can say "Mama and Dada" and actually know what that means. She is a pistol and is very strong willed (gee, I wonder where she gets that...). She is not walking yet but is very efficient at crawling to anywhere and everywhere she pleases. We finally moved her into her own room and she is doing great. She still refuses to have anything to do with a bottle or pacifier so my "me" time is still non-existent. It is worth it though. I know it is better for her and I know I will look back and miss these days. Here are a few new pictures. I would write more but it is late and I am tired=)
