Finally an update!!

I will be the first to admit that I have been a horrible blogger lately! I just looked up and realized that it has been exactly a month since my last post... Anywho, Claire will be turning ONE on the 24th! She has turned into such an amazing little person. We can't get enough of her and she does something new and exciting everyday. Brandon just taught her how to give a high five and to put her little pointer finger up when you ask her how old she is. It is the cutest thing ever. And everytime she does this she looks at him like she has just accomplished the coolest thing in the world. She is walking like crazy now and there is literally no stopping her. She figures a way over/under/around/through any sort of barricade we put up. People are not kidding when they say toddlers are exhausting! But SO much fun at the same time.

We are heading over to Seattle this weekend for Brandon's Crossfit Games. He has been training hard and I know he will do great. We get to stay with his brother Brad and wife Lisa and two little ones so I'm sure I will come back with some seriously cute cousin pics!!

I love this first pic of Claire. She has the sweetest most beautiful face. The rest are some great bath pics that I took of her and Gracie. It was all I could do to keep the dog OUT of the tub. She really wanted to get in there and play with Claire. They are so cute together. I put the last one on here for Brandon. He loves her hair in a mohawk like this (typical guy) and I love how she is looking up like 'what is my hair doing?'

Claire's first Easter

Well, Claire's first Easter was a hit. We had a busy but great day. She got to go to her first Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Kari's house where she had a blast picking up and shaking the plastic eggs!! Then we had an amazing meal at my with my family where Lauren put together the cutest Easter basket for Claire!! She is so lucky to have such great God parents!! And isn't her dress the cutest thing ever?? My cousin Kelsey and her husband Don got it for her and it was the perfect Easter Dress!

Round 2!!!

So 92.9 kzzu is doing their annual Baby Idol contest and we thought it would be fun to enter Claire. This is Brandon's all time favorite picture of her so this is what we went with. And Winter continues...

I just had to write a quick post (and I mean quick, as I type this Claire is literally tearing apart the office) about our lovely weather. What the heck?? It is April 2nd and we just got about 3 inches of new snow. How depressing. I am so ready for Spring that what usually is beautiful fluffy white stuff is now yucky. We have had CRAZY weather around here lately. Here are a couple pictures. There is also one of our resident deer who also don't know where teh heck Spring went. The first two are of the field across from our house pre-snow, and the next is this morning.

Finally Spring!!

I am SO glad Spring is here!! Even if this means the occasional snowfall... Anyway, life is flying by in our neck of the woods. Our little angel is going to turn one in May!! This is CRAZY to me. I really don't know where the past year has gone. She is such a funny girl and so much fun to be around. Here are a couple new pics of her as well as one of our dog, Gracie. I just realized I hadn't given her any blog time! She is 2 and Claire LOVES her. Gracie is great with Claire and lets her pull, poke and prod anytime she wants, poor dog=) Finally, this is Brandon squatting 455lbs (i think) and he did it like it was nothing. Pretty amazing!! Sunday funnies

Here are a few pictures from last weekend that are too cute not to post. I love the one of Claire with her Grams and Gramps. She gets so excited whenever they're around and she just loves spending time with them. The second one is her and her horsie. Brandon and I sit on opposite sides of the living room and push her back and forth and she thinks this is about the coolest thing ever. She even knows to put her feet up and hold on!! The last picture was Sunday morning when I asked Brandon to feed Claire so I could take a shower. When I got out this is what I saw. What fun is eating breakfast when you can wear it right? Brandon said she seemed like she wanted to feed herself so he let her have at it!!
