I don't have much time to post right now so I'll just put a few captions by these pics of our little angel who is now 15 months old!!

Claire's Aunt Karissa let her wear one of Maddie's tutus at Maddie's first birthday party! I thought she would try to rip it off right away but she LOVED wearing it and didn't want to take it off!

The boys were having a "fly swatting contest" and Jeff actually killed one on Brandon's sleve! You can see it if you enlarge the pic. Jeff wasn't messin' around;)

Claire has been really into wearing her little swimmer diapers as hats for some reason. She thinks she is hilarious and we think it's pretty funny too

Summer fun!!

I can't believe summer's already half gone. How depressing. Just the thought of cold and snow makes me want to snuggle into my down comforter and watch a movie. Good thing we have the sweltering heat to keep my mink off that!! This summer has been great. Claire is getting some good time in at the local splash pads and loving her little pool in the back yard. We are all doing great!! Claire is amazing us in new ways everyday. She is so stinkin' smart and SUCH a climber! She has already taken tumbles out of her crib and pack n' play. What am I supposed to do with her while I shower now? Seriously though, any advise here would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures of our family (mostly Claire) over the last month. Claire's first birthday, new backpack and the lake!

Once again, it has been a while since I've updated the blog. Tons went on in May so here are a TON of pictures to document it! First of all, for Mother's Day Claire got me a Kelty Kids backpack which I have to admit that Brandon wears it most of the time because the 23 lbs Claire weighs plus the 10lbs the pack weighs is pushin' it for me. It is AWESOME though and Claire loves to ride around it it.

Claire turned ONE one the 24th and to celebrate we went up to Bayview and took the boat out with my parents. She had so much fun and mostly liked picking up and trying to eat all the rocks=)

The next day we had a birthday party with family and friends. It was a blast and a great time was had by all. Claire absolutely demolished her cake and had a great time with all her friends. Here are the pics I promised!!

Finally an update!!

I will be the first to admit that I have been a horrible blogger lately! I just looked up and realized that it has been exactly a month since my last post... Anywho, Claire will be turning ONE on the 24th! She has turned into such an amazing little person. We can't get enough of her and she does something new and exciting everyday. Brandon just taught her how to give a high five and to put her little pointer finger up when you ask her how old she is. It is the cutest thing ever. And everytime she does this she looks at him like she has just accomplished the coolest thing in the world. She is walking like crazy now and there is literally no stopping her. She figures a way over/under/around/through any sort of barricade we put up. People are not kidding when they say toddlers are exhausting! But SO much fun at the same time.

We are heading over to Seattle this weekend for Brandon's Crossfit Games. He has been training hard and I know he will do great. We get to stay with his brother Brad and wife Lisa and two little ones so I'm sure I will come back with some seriously cute cousin pics!!

I love this first pic of Claire. She has the sweetest most beautiful face. The rest are some great bath pics that I took of her and Gracie. It was all I could do to keep the dog OUT of the tub. She really wanted to get in there and play with Claire. They are so cute together. I put the last one on here for Brandon. He loves her hair in a mohawk like this (typical guy) and I love how she is looking up like 'what is my hair doing?'

Claire's first Easter

Well, Claire's first Easter was a hit. We had a busy but great day. She got to go to her first Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Kari's house where she had a blast picking up and shaking the plastic eggs!! Then we had an amazing meal at my with my family where Lauren put together the cutest Easter basket for Claire!! She is so lucky to have such great God parents!! And isn't her dress the cutest thing ever?? My cousin Kelsey and her husband Don got it for her and it was the perfect Easter Dress!

So 92.9 kzzu is doing their annual Baby Idol contest and we thought it would be fun to enter Claire. This is Brandon's all time favorite picture of her so this is what we went with.
